Basketball Recap: Benedictine Comes Up Short

Benedictine suffered their closest defeat since February 9, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Warner Robins Demons by a score of 61-59. The Cadets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Demons earlier this season, when they won 65-54.

Despite the loss, Benedictine still got an impressive performance from Caleb Jones, who almost dropped a double-double with 37 points and nine boards. That was a full 62.7% of Benedictine's points, marking the 11th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. John Lilly was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Benedictine's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Warner Robins, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Benedictine nor Warner Robins have any future games scheduled.
