Baseball Game Preview: Miller Buccaneers vs. Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys

The Miller Buccaneers will square off against the Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Miller has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Miller is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 13-5 to Ray.

Miller saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Davian Jacquez, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs Jacquez has posted since back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, Falfurrias didn't have quite enough to beat Orange Grove on Tuesday and fell 4-3.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Falfurrias, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3-2 record this season.
