York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Jamestown Eagles, falling 71-51. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, York still got an impressive performance from Sarah Witt, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 23 points. That was a full 45.1% of York's points, marking the third time in a row Witt has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aureliana Thorne, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 11 points.

York's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Jamestown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-15.

York didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-37 defeat against Smithfield on the 18th. As for Jamestown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-40 loss against Grafton on the 18th.
