Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Has No Trouble Against Vinton

Notre Dame won the last time they faced Vinton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pioneers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Notre Dame now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Vinton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Notre Dame and Vinton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. The Pioneers will take on St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (31 vs. 5). Meanwhile, Vinton (ranked 159th) will meet Iota (ranked 37th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
