Anthem Prep came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 46.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 61-43 victory over the San Pasqual Valley Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

San Pasqual Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Isaiah Martinez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josh Vasquez, who went 5 of 10 en route to 13 points and seven boards.

Anthem Prep's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for San Pasqual Valley, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Anthem Prep will challenge North Phoenix Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Pasqual Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
