Softball Recap: Lytle Gets the Win

Lytle came out on top against Weimar on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Pirates skirted past the Wildcats 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

The team relied heavily on Marley Macias, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Lytle's win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Coming up, Lytle will venture away from home to take on Johnson City at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Weimar, they will take on Orange Grove in a tournament on Friday.
