Basketball Recap: Lebanon Comes Up Short

Lebanon lost against Helias back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lebanon Yellowjackets were outmatched by the Helias Crusaders and fell 72-33. The match marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lebanon lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noah Boggs, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Harrison Howe, who earned six points.

Lebanon has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Helias, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Lebanon has already played their next game (against Parkview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Helias won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Metro Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Helias knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Metro Academy likes a good challenge.
