Cheney typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Conway Springs proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against Cheney by a score of 2-0. Surprisingly, this marked Conway Springs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Conway Springs never let Cheney on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19.

Reece Johnson paced Conway Springs' offense, picking up eight kills. Johnson got some help from Lanie Hartman and her 18 assists. Lairen Pauly controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Conway Springs is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season. As for Cheney, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-9.

Coincidentally, Conway Springs and Cheney will both be playing Trinity Academy the next time they take the court. Cheney will head out to face Trinity Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Conway Springs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
