Football Recap: Livermore Cowboys vs. Dougherty Valley Wildcats
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livermore). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Dougherty Valley Wildcats 40-0 at home. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Livermore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matteo Lortie, who threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Kamarri Robinson helped Lortie out on the ground, rushing for 129 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Livermore now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Dougherty Valley, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
