Volleyball Recap: Science Hill Snags Tenth Win in Last 12 Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dobyns-Bennett, Science Hill was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Lambert Longhorns 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hilltoppers have posted since August 21st.

Leading Science Hill to victory were Isa Dau and Lucy O'Daniel. Dau had 15 digs and one assist, while O'Daniel had seven digs and six aces. O'Daniel is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Clara McBride also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Science Hill has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Lambert, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Science Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against North Cobb Christian on the 13th. Lambert has also already played their next contest (against Thompson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
