Baseball Recap: Bay Takes a Loss

Bay came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-3 to the Arnold Marlins. The loss continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their meetings with the Marlins: they've now lost three in a row.

Bay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Fuentes, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Fuentes has posted since back in February.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Arnold, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Coming up, Bay will challenge Sequoyah at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arnold, they will square off against South Walton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Arnold 3.3, South Walton 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
