Basketball Recap: Nick Reece's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Berea-Midpark over Olmsted Falls

Berea-Midpark came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs, falling 94-74. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since December 6, 2024.

Berea-Midpark lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nick Reece, who went 10-for-24 to rack up 28 points and three steals. The match was his 17th in a row with at least 16 points. Tyson Clay was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 17 points and five steals.

Berea-Midpark's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Olmsted Falls, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Berea-Midpark wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-59 loss against Lorain on the 18th. As for Olmsted Falls, they will host Kenston at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. One thing working in Olmsted Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
