Basketball Game Preview: Columbus International Lions vs. Linden-McKinley Panthers

Columbus International is 2-8 against Linden-McKinley since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Columbus International Lions duke it out with the Linden-McKinley Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Columbus International will be strutting in after a win while Linden-McKinley will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Columbus International strolled past Westerville North with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Linden-McKinley played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 57-12 defeat at the hands of Hamilton Township. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Linden-McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Columbus International, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Columbus International against Linden-McKinley in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 73-43 win. Will Columbus International repeat their success, or does Linden-McKinley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
