Volleyball Recap: Bishop Hendricken Falls Short Against Ranked North Kingstown

Bishop Hendricken faced North Kingstown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Hawks came up short against the Skippers, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Skippers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Bishop Hendricken was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 25-22.

Andrew Ramos paced Bishop Hendricken's offense, picking up seven kills. Ramos got some help from Benjamin Warr and his 11 assists. Ramos and Warr didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

North Kingstown had a senior duo take command as Stephen Dufour had 13 digs and one assist and Evan Shea had 15 assists and four digs. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Dufour.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bishop Hendricken fell to 3-1. As for North Kingstown, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.
