Baseball Recap: Sunnyside Takes a Loss

Sunnyside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Eisenhower Cadets. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cadets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Sunnyside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryker Heeringa, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Eisenhower, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

While Sunnyside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
