            Softball Recap: Lake Oswego Lakers vs. Tigard Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Lake Oswego suffered their closest  loss since March 20, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Tigard Tigers by a score of  7-5. The Lakers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
  Avery Latta made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Macy Maxwell, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
Lake Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Tigard, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record  this season.
 Lake Oswego will square off against Lakeridge at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Lakers are facing the Pacers at the right time seeing as the Pacers are stuck on  a  five-game losing streak. As for Tigard, they will challenge Oregon City at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5  runs per game  this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
