Miranda dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten assists, while ALEGRIA dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. The game was Miranda 's third in a row with at least ten points. Matthew Lomeli was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Maywood Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Academia Avance, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
