Basketball Recap: J.R. Tucker Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask J.R. Tucker). They blew past the Thomas Jefferson Vikings 73-52 on Friday. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Thomas Jefferson, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

J.R. Tucker will be home for the holidays to greet Godwin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomas Jefferson and Richmond City School of the Arts will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
