Mosinee's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Lakeland.

Ava Busse spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just zero earned runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Mosinee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taelyn Jirschele, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Medford gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against Rhinelander as Medford made off with a 22-3 victory. While fans of Medford might be used to big wins, the 19-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.

Rylee Hraby was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Hraby has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Hraby was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Chelsea Gebauer was incredible, going 3-for-3 with five RBI, a run, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Finley Arndt, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Mosinee's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Medford, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Mosinee came out on top in a nail-biter against Medford in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Medford's Martha Miller, who struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Now that she won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be that much easier for Mosinee to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
