Softball Recap: Cold Springs Comes Up Short

Cold Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to Sumiton Christian. The contest marked Cold Springs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cheyenne Bishop made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Cold Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Sumiton Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Cold Springs will venture away from home to take on Holly Pond at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sumiton Christian, they will challenge Corner at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
