Neumann Regional Academy has gone 9-1 against Bucktail recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Neumann Regional Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Bucktail at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Neumann Regional Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Muncy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Neumann Regional Academy blew past Muncy 10-1 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Knights.

Angelo Birch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.
In other batting news, Gino Birch and Andrew Walter did most of the damage at the plate: Gino scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Walter scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kane Meixel, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Bucktail narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Sugar Valley Rural 8-6.
Like Neumann Regional Academy, Bucktail also got a great game from a two-way player: Keller Friese. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Friese was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
In other batting news, Ethan Kalafut was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Gavin Pick was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
The win got Bucktail back to even at 1-1. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Neumann Regional Academy couldn't quite get it done against Bucktail in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 12-9. Can Neumann Regional Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
