Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 38-30 victory over Illinois Valley Central on Friday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Grey Ghosts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Tolono Unity's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Tolono Unity against Paxton-Buckley-Loda in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-6 victory. In that contest, the Rockets amassed a halftime lead of 43-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
