Soccer Game Preview: Oakridge vs. Hockaday

Oakridge is 0-4 against Hockaday since January of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Oakridge Owls will venture away from home to face off against the Hockaday Daisies at 5:00 p.m.

Oakridge is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against St. Andrew's, falling 5-1. That's two games in a row now that the Owls have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, Hockaday kept a clean sheet against Episcopal School of Dallas on Monday. They blew past the Eagles 4-0. Considering the Daisies have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Oakridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hockaday, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-1.

Oakridge suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Hockaday in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Oakridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
