Arlington scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Cajon Cowboys by a score of 5-4. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.
Logan Quiamboa made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Cody Parker also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cajon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

As for Cajon, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against La Quinta at 4:00 p.m. The Blackhawks' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Cowboys' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
