The Lick-Wilmerding Tigers will face off against the Urban Blues at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lick-Wilmerding is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Lick-Wilmerding saw some tournament action back in December of 2025. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Archie Williams. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Lick-Wilmerding came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Archie Williams are ranked 252nd).

Quentin Williams and Kingston Vora scored both of Lick-Wilmerding's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Urban sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over San Domenico on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Urban have won by just one goal.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lick-Wilmerding fell to 6-1. As for Urban, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Lick-Wilmerding skirted past Urban 1-0 in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Blues have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
