Soccer Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gallatin County last Wednesday, Carroll County came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the North Oldham Mustangs on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Carroll County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while North Oldham are ranked eighth).

Carroll County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for North Oldham, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Carroll County nor North Oldham have any future games scheduled.
