Volleyball Recap: Community Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four

Community Christian came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the North Florida Christian Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Chargers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Chargers were just returning the favor.

Community Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding North Florida Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-14.

Avea Casperson paced Community Christian's offense, picking up 19 kills. Casperson got some help from Sarah-Kate Liddell and her 22 assists. Liddell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kallie Mathison, racking up five apiece.

Community Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for North Florida Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Community Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Wakulla Christian School on the 16th. As for North Florida Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Munroe on the 13th.
