West Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Daviess Cougars. The Senators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Leading North Daviess to victory were Coltyn Mcnabb and Keaton Graber. Mcnabb rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown, while Graber rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown. Those 170 rushing yards gave Graber a new career-high.

West Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for North Daviess, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

West Washington has already played their next game, a 16-6 loss against Perry Central on the 4th. As for North Daviess, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 54-6 defeat against North Decatur on the 4th.
