Basketball Recap: Pekin Comes Up Short

After flying high against Comer on Friday, Pekin came back down to earth. The Dragons fell 57-48 to the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans on Sunday.

Pekin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Pekin is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Galesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Edward at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
