Football Game Preview: Piqua Indians vs. Sidney Yellowjackets

The Piqua Indians will venture away from home to take on the Sidney Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Piqua will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Piqua beat Butler 28-23.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sidney, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-28 victory over West Carrollton on Friday. The Yellowjackets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sidney's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Piqua, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Piqua came up short against Sidney in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 20-13. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
