Basketball Recap: Kingsbury Triumphs

If Soulsville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kingsbury, they should've done a better job of containing Maleah Ward. The Kingsbury Falcons walked away with a 46-36 win over the Soulsville Revolution on Tuesday thanks in part to Ward, who posted 30 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Kingsbury's points.

Kingsbury's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Soulsville, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Kingsbury and Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Soulsville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
