Basketball Game Preview: Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus Knights vs. Washington Heights Expeditionary

After both having extra time off, the Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus Knights and Washington Heights Expeditionary will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Washington Heights Expeditionary's (thus far) undefeated season.

Two weeks ago, Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus took a blow against Randolph Campus, falling 104-34. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 511th, while the Cougars are ranked 150th).

While Washington Heights Expeditionary didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down Washington 82-63 two weeks ago.

Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Washington Heights Expeditionary, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
