Basketball Recap: Decatur Starts off Right with Win over Howardsville Christian + How To Watch

Decatur had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 62-54 win over the Howardsville Christian Eagles.

Adam Featherstone was a one-man wrecking crew as he posted 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Keagan Cropsey, who had 18 points and six boards.

Despite the loss, Howardsville Christian still got an impressive performance from Caden Grant, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Kavin Sparks was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Decatur won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gobles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Howardsville Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Watervliet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
