Volleyball Recap: Manila Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manila can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Walnut Ridge Bobcats on Saturday. Lions fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bobcats since Saturday.

Manila's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Walnut Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Manila does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walnut Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Central on the 11th.
