Softball Game Preview: Hampshire Trojans vs. Robert C. Byrd Eagles

The Hampshire Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Robert C. Byrd Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hampshire comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Friday just wasn't the day for Hampshire's offense. They lost 13-0 to Frankfort on Friday.

Hampshire saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charly Ashton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Robert C. Byrd came up short against Buckhannon-Upshur on Thursday and fell 7-2. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bucaneers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hampshire's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Robert C. Byrd, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.
