Basketball Recap: East Rutherford Beats Patton for Their Fourth Straight Victory

East Rutherford extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Faith Smith. The East Rutherford Cavaliers put the hurt on the Patton Panthers with a sharp 51-30 victory on Friday thanks in part to Smith, who posted 19 points along with seven steals and five boards. Those 19 points gave her a new career-high.

East Rutherford is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Patton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

East Rutherford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-35 loss against Hendersonville on the 4th. Patton has also already played their next contest, a 39-31 defeat against R-S Central on the 4th.
