Soccer Recap: Clint Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Clint challenged Austin on Tuesday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. That's two games in a row now that Clint have lost by exactly two goals.

Clint has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Austin, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clint will square off against rival Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Austin is set to take on their familiar foe Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
