After losing to Christian Heritage the last time they met, Coahulla Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Colts came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions on Monday, sneaking past 3-2.

Coahulla Creek took Christian Heritage into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-15, 16-25, 25-23, 15-6.

Alyce Norton paced Coahulla Creek's offense, picking up 25 kills. Norton got some help from Reece Elliott and her 19 assists. Abby Triplett controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Coahulla Creek now has a winning record of 18-17. As for Christian Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-21.

Looking ahead, Coahulla Creek will face off against North Cobb Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Heritage, they will head out to square off against Jonesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each match than the last.
