Basketball Recap: Highlands Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After losing to Hiwassee Dam the last time they met, Highlands decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Highlands Highlanders secured a 48-43 W over the Hiwassee Dam Eagles on Friday.

Highlands' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-3. As for Hiwassee Dam, they moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highlands will be home for the holidays to greet Andrews at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hiwassee Dam, they will host Robbinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Robbinsville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hiwassee Dam surely won't give up without a fight.
