Baseball Recap: Northern Highlands Takes a Loss

Northern Highlands made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bergen Catholic, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Highlanders fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Highlanders were not able to get on the board.

Northern Highlands saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Radoncic, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Northern Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Bergen Catholic, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-7.

Coming up, Northern Highlands has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Westwood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bergen Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
