Basketball Game Preview: Park Wolfpack vs. Roseville Raiders

The Park Wolfpack will face off against the Roseville Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Park turned things around against Columbia Heights on Saturday. They snuck past the Hylanders with a 72-68 victory. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Hylanders are ranked 354th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Roseville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 78-63 bruising from Stillwater.

Park's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Roseville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Park came up short against Roseville when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 88-77. Can Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
