Mullins skates past Latta with ease

The Mullins Auctioneers stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Latta 89-38 on the road. That 51 points margin sets a new team best for Mullins this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mullins to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dakarai Worley, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Worley scored 15 or more points. JJ Davis was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five steals.

Latta's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Mcrae, who scored five points along with five rebounds.

The victory makes it two in a row for Mullins and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Latta, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mullins won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Conway at 7:15 p.m. on January 4th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Conway is ranked 83rd, while Mullins is ranked 86th). As for Latta, they will be playing at home against Lake View at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake View has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28.
