Wasco waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Chavez Titans with a sharp 10-1 victory. Considering the Tigers have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Cedes Saldana spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 17 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Aliya Leal was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jazzy Juarez, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple.
