Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Jesuit Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the St. Agnes Aggies an easy 65-45 victory. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cristo Rey Jesuit of the 68-53 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Cristo Rey Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for St. Agnes, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Cristo Rey Jesuit will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eagle Ridge Academy at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. St. Agnes and Legacy Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
