Basketball Recap: Eastern Greene Takes a Loss

Eastern Greene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 46-26 to the Linton-Stockton Miners. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Miners from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Eastern Greene's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Linton-Stockton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastern Greene is set to square off against their familiar foe Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Linton-Stockton will face off against rival Clay City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
