Basketball Recap: Livingston Academy Takes a Loss

Livingston Academy lost against Upperman back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Livingston Academy Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Upperman Bees. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Bees are ranked 37th).

Livingston Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Upperman, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Livingston Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-62 defeat against Stone Memorial on the 17th. As for Upperman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 80-44 win against DeKalb County on the 17th.
