Basketball Recap: Wakulla Comes Up Short

Wakulla lost against North Florida Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wakulla War Eagles received a blow as they fell 50-32 to the North Florida Christian Eagles.

Despite the defeat, Wakulla saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Amariyah Donaldson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. That was a full 59.4% of Wakulla's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Wakulla's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Florida Christian, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Wakulla didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-39 defeat against Leon on the 16th. As for North Florida Christian, they will challenge Rocky Bayou Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rocky Bayou Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something North Florida Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
