Volleyball Recap: Finneytown Comes Up Short at Home Against Taylor

Finneytown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Taylor Yellowjackets on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-7, 25-4.

Among those leading the charge was Xavier Rodriguez, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave him a new career-high.

Taylor now has a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Taylor will challenge Milford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Finneytown will be paying especially close attention to the Yellowjackets' match: after the Yellowjackets faces off against Bishop Fenwick, they'll take on Finneytown again at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
