George West triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Tristen Blevins

Recap: George West Longhorns vs. Cotulla Cowboys
The George West Longhorns won the last time they faced the Cotulla Cowboys, and things went their way on Tuesday too. George West came out on top against Cotulla by a score of 57-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for George West.
It was another big night for Tristen Blevins, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was William Balew, who scored eight points.
George West's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Cotulla, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. George West will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Non Varsity Opponent has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Cotulla will be home for the holidays to greet Three Rivers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
