Estacado and Levelland are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. Estacado will be playing at home against Levelland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Estacado barely beat Big Spring the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Estacado put the hurt on Big Spring with a sharp 7-1 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Levelland won against Big Spring on Wednesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Levelland had just enough and edged out Snyder 6-4. The game was the first time the Lobos have beaten the Tigers on their field since March 25, 2022.

Levelland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. Estacado's victory bumped their record up to 8-11-1.

Estacado was able to grind out a solid win over Levelland in their previous matchup last Monday, winning 9-4. Will Estacado repeat their success, or does Levelland has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
